TGD Palletized Conveyor
The TGD palletized conveyor is the equivalent of a
DeBurgh ® conveyor. This type of conveyor is very
durable and has been utilized for many furniture
applications.
The system uses steel pallets that move on either
skate wheel or swivel-type casters depending on the area
of the conveyor. The pallets can be sized to meet the
dimensions of the product. The standard conveyor height
to the bottom of the pallet is 18.
The conveyor support frame is fabricated from 11
gauge steel and positioned on 5’ centers. Horizontal
curves are fabricated with segment rollers to reduce
friction. Reduced friction results in fewer drives
required.
The TGD conveyor can be used in straight run or in
close pack (pallets are turned 90º to the direction of
the chain) accumulation. Close packing allows selected
sections of the conveyor to operate at approximately 1/3
the regular speed of the straight run sections. This
feature reduces the amount of conveyor required in areas
such as flash-off, oven drying and cool-down.
